Daily Dog Walks
It's very important for dogs to get out for a daily walk both for
exercise and mental stimulation. Certain breeds require plenty of exercise
to remain in top physical condition. Even couch potatoes need
to stretch their legs. Daily exercise may prevent leg and joint problems
as your animal ages.
If your dog has behavior quirks, like excessive barking or chewing, it
may be a sign of needing more exercise. Just as people read newspapers or watch
t.v. for information, dogs need sensory input to alleviate boredom. The best remedy
for canine boredom is a good walk, resulting in a happy, healthy pet.
Vacation Care
When you travel, you shouldn't be worrying about your pet. If you don't want to
impose on others, and you'd rather not use a kennel, call us. Your pet will be happier
and feel more secure staying at home. Your pet receives its normal routine and
feeding schedule.
We provide customized service (mail/newspaper pick-up, plant watering, adjusting
lights and window coverings so your home looks lived-in while you're away). Most
importantly, your pet will receive caring, individual attention other places can't provide
and you can concentrate on enjoying your vacation.
Just call two weeks before service is needed. We will meet you and your pet(s), get
detailed information about care including instructions about vitamins, medicine
or special exercise plans and pick up keys to your home.
Overnight Pet and House Sitting
If your pet requires more companionship than standard vacation care provides, we
offer overnight stays. This allows additional time for cuddling and play, walks or
back-yard outs especially of benefit to older dogs who may no longer be able to hold it overnight.
Overnights also provide a lived-in look for your home, making your home more secure while you're away.
Holiday Care
With advance notice, we provide care on national holidays (unlike other pet services).
A surcharge of $15 above the regular charge per day will apply.
Food and Kitty Litter Service
Too tired to heft another 40-pound bag of dog food or kitty litter? We'll do the
shopping and hauling for you. Call for rates or more information. Senior citizens
get a discount.
All Natural Dog Treats
We bake our own dog treats, free of chemicals and dyes found in most commercial
brands. Spoil your dog, naturally. Treats are $8 a pound.
Yard Care and Pest Service
Too pooped to scoop? Multiple
dogs, too much yard? We'll pick up
where you've left off daily or
weekly depending on need.
During summer months, when flies
are a problem, we offer fly-trapping
service and maintenance.
Depending on the amount of flies,
we clean traps once or twice a
week. In addition to poop-scooping,
you can greatly reduce fly populations
and disease transmission.
