Sam's Pet Sitting
In Memorium, Part 1
Muggs, the sweetest dog I ever had. Also, the least fussy eater... An Anti-Cruelty Society treasure.
Rusty, the dog that accompanied me on my paper route each morning. People used to say they didn't need an alarm clock with my calling him to heel (okay, yelling). Never could get him to drop the newspaper on the porch. Rusty had a lot of friends, cat, dog, and human.
Trixie (we watched too much Speed Racer) and Bumper, my grandma's and parent's dogs, respectively.
An Anti-Cruelty Society find, we changed her name from Spade (huh?) to Sonar. What you can't tell from this photo is just how tall her ears really were. The absolute sweetest dog that ever lived. I wish we had cloned her.
This was our very first amstaff, Natasha Yar, Chief of Security. A brilliant dog who knew and obeyed many, many commands, even "Give the kitty a kiss." All photos taken by Sam's Pet Sitting unless otherwise noted.
